Radiologic Science RADT 1065
2 Credits(Prerequisites: Program Admission; Program Instructor Approval) Content of this course is designed to establish a basic knowledge of atomic structure and terminology. Other topics include the nature and characteristics of x-radiation; ionizing and non-ionizing radiation; x-ray production; the properties of x-rays and the fundamentals of x-ray photon interaction with matter.
