Hair Color COSM 1050
3 Credits(Co-requisite: COSM 1000) Introduces the theory & application of temporary, semi-permanent, demi-permanent/deposit only, and permanent haircolor, hair lightening, and color removal products and application. Topics include: principles of color theory, hair structure, color tone, classifications of color, hair lightening, color removal, application procedures, safety precautions, client consultation, product knowledge, hair color challenges, corrective solutions, and special effects. A $30 fee is associated with this course due to the increased cost of haircolor products, lighteners, and toners.
