Advanced Pharmacy Technology Practicum PHAR 2070
5 Credits(Prerequisite: PHAR 1030, PHAR 1050) Continues the development of knowledge and skills applicable to pharmacy technology practice through additional on site practice. Topics include: institutional dispensing responsibilities, patient profiles, physician orders, controlled substances, aseptic technique and IV preparation, chemotherapy, pharmacy data systems, ophthalmic preparations, and other institutional/hospice/home health pharmacy techniques.
