Commercial Truck Driving

STC’s Commercial Truck Driving Program provides basic training in the principles and skills of commercial truck operations. In 2012, U.S. commercial trucks moved more than 9.4 billion tons, over two-thirds of the country’s total freight, proving that trucking remains a major force in commerce and a career with plenty of demand. CTD students receive commercial truck driving training on-site and on the road in day or evening classes over a 7½ week period.

Commercial Truck Driving graduates have worked at DOT Foods, Coastal Transport, Werner, Conway Truckload, and some are self-employed.

Immediately upon graduation, STC graduates have made between $14 and $20 per hour.
