Electrical Construction Technology
STC’s Electrical Construction Technology (ECT) Program teaches the inspection, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in the residential, commercial, and industrial industries. In our plugged-in, always-on, fully-connected world, electricity is crucial to almost every aspect of life. It’s no surprise, then, that ECT careers are both secure and full of opportunity. In Southeastern Tech’s ECT program, a combination of theory and practical application is emphasized to develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills.
Where might I find a job?
Graduates have been employed at Moye Electric, Walden Plumbing & Electric, US Pet Nutrition, Crider Poultry, and have been self-employed.
Salary Information
Immediately upon graduation, STC graduates have made between $8.50 and $20 per hour.
