Haircutting & Shampooing I BARB 1022
3 CreditsThis course introduces the theory and skills necessary to apply basic haircutting techniques. Safe use of haircutting implements are stressed. The course also introduces the fundamental theory and skills required to shampoo hair. Laboratory training includes shampooing a live model. Topics include patron preparation, haircutting terminology, safety and sanitation, implements, basic haircutting techniques, shampoo chemistry, and shampoo procedures.
